The material on both the inside and outside feels really nice — soft on the inside with that cozy fleece lining, and smooth and durable on the outside without feeling stiff.It blocks wind well and zips up smoothly. The fit is flattering without being bulky, and it layers easily over long sleeves or lightweight sweaters. Works just as well for running errands as it does for walking, hiking, or being outside on a breezy day.Overall, it feels thoughtfully made and comfortable enough to reach for often. Comfortable "plus size" outer garments can be challenging, and often expensive. This vest is awesome and a value for the price! The fit is true to size, it's comfortable and the detailed construction is indicative of quality wear. So often, plus size wear includes lesser quality fabric and craftmanship to be affordable - not so with this vest!This sleeveless design is comfortable and attractive, without encumbering arm movements or feeling bulky. The bonded fleece is soft to the touch and lightweight, while adding another layer of warmth - especially appreciated in these last months of frigid weather. There are 4 pockets, 2 inside and 2 outside; enough to carry essentials while outdoors. The windproof vest can be worn as a layer over long sleeved tops or as extra chest warmth under a jacket or coat.So, this vest is comfortable and attractive - but most impressive are the details. The quality stitching is exceptional. The protective pocket over the top of the zipper is a detail that caught my attention right away - how often has your neck been scratched or pinched with a high zipper? Not here, I love the protective pocket!This vest is well made and machine washable. I didn't see drying instructions, but I would recommend air drying. I expect this vest to be a winter staple and a fall stabilizer, for a few years. Designed for the curvy woman, the vest is available in sizes 1x-5x. Color options are navy blue, black and wine red. Now that I have the blue, I think the red will be a future purchase. Balancing quality and price, this vest is a great value and I recommend to anyone who just needs another chest layer for fall, or another layer for winter.

This vest runs true to size—I got my usual 3X and it fits perfectly. That said, I have a smaller chest, so if you have a larger chest, you might need to size up or the zipper might not close all the way.The color is a beautiful deep maroon, and it’s warm thanks to the fleece lining inside. My main complaint is that the collar doesn’t want to stay folded down in the front. When it’s not folded down, it sits a bit high and pokes under my chin, which can be annoying.Overall, this is a great vest for layering. It’s versatile enough to wear across different seasons and gives you extra warmth without needing a full jacket.
