It’s a good coat to wear if you get hot easily and just want something lighter.Oddly enough I was getting pretty hot wearing this coat from walking so it has good insulation.it’s very soft because it’s made out of 100 % Nylon.I’m a bigger woman 5’6 and around 270-280 lbs so I bought the 4X. very roomy
